Kettle Valley Railway Mountain Bike Tour...
The Myra Canyon rebuilding is finished and we are excited to offer the KVR program again!
The Kettle Valley Railway is an abandoned railbed which is now a bike trail that traverses the Okanagan area of Southern British Columbia. Great camping site and no vehicle traffic to contend with. The many trestles and tunnels on the KVR are a dramatic reminder of an era gone by, when railways tied a young country together across vast tracts of wilderness. Today, restored and upgraded for safety, these impressive structures provide for some exciting riding through that same wilderness. This is a unique adventure your students will remember for years!
Groups should allow 5 days for the tour, which includes travel time to and from Calgary. Longer tours are possible if desired; please call us for details. Company of Adventurers provides guides, tents& stoves, campsites and a support vehicle to transport bikes and shuttle gear between camps. Sleeping bag and bike rentals are available from our gear pool and we will also supply meals for the trip if you wish. Please see the insert for rates. Charter transportation is available at special rates on our comfortable Outdoor Bus for this program.
