Skiing
Join us for cross-country skiing at its best as we explore the winter wonders of the Kananaskis valley. There are hundreds of kilometers of very well maintained trails which are suitable for all ability levels. Our qualified staff will provide instruction and guided trail skiing for all levels whether you are just beginning or are more advanced. A day trip to the trails of Banff National Park, Lake Louise and to the town of Banff will be included in our skiing adventures. Equipment rentals are available on site.
Gain a unique insight into the world of the elusive wolf as we explore their habitat and activities. We will travel on snowshoes to visit their hunting grounds and learn how reseachers track and study local wolves. Snowshoes are included.
Kananaskis Country is a 4200 sq. km. mountain wilderness and recreation area 100 km. west of Calgary. Quality accomodations and gourmet meals are provided at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, a full service facility, situated in the midst of spectacular scenery and wildlife habitat. Rooms are double occupancy (unlimited singles, extra charge) with private bath.
Our professional staff draw on years of teaching and guiding in the outdoors to ensure your course is a great learning experience. Course tuition includes transportation to and from Calgary as well as active daily field trips using our deluxe motorcoach with reclining seats, climate control, PA system and washroom.
