Company of Adventurers is committed to creating Outdoor Adventures and Environmental Education programs that are safe, rewarding, have a lasting impact and are full of adventure.

 

Bernie Woods, Founder.   

Bernie began the Company of Adventurers with a goal of passing on a love of wild places to a generation of young people in the Calgary area. Bernie grew up exploring the Canadian Rockies and continues his explorations with programs that appeal to students of all ages in our beautiful landscapes.

Elsbeth Schwizer, Program Director.

Elsbeth has an educational background in Adventure Tourism and Outdoor Recreation, and is presently completing a BA in General Studies. She is passionate about the outdoors and educating people on environmental issues and outdoor activities. She greatly enjoys: downhill skiing, hiking, paddling, and mountain biking.

 

 

 

 

Lynn Henderson , Office Administrator.

Lynn is presently completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership. She is passionate about environmental and cultural sustainability. She enjoys travelling, snowboarding, and hiking.
